Lore document number two! This time a Pacifan PSA about screening children for magical ability. Humans generally need to awaken their aura (the source of magical ability), unlike most elves where it awakens on its own during childhood. So, to increase their Mage numbers, Pacifans take the initiative and try to get everyone to test their children so they can start training as early as possible. The fine print- having magical ability often results in handing your children over to the Pacifan Temple (or having them adopted by a rich patron who wants a Mage in their family for political reasons), and they pay you for your trouble.
